I had a Fitbit Blaze but gave it to another person. I removed the device from my account but the other person is receiving my text messages and alerts. How do we get my info completely removed from the blaze?

I would like to know if the instruction provided by our friend @Rich_Laue worked? Since I agree with him, once you delete your Blaze from your bluetooth settings it will stop receiving your notifications.
