LG G4 and Fitbit Blaze no longer communicate

Hi,

I've had my Fitbit Blaze since last summer and it worked fine with my LG G4 up until this afternoon when it refused to sync. I've tried turning bluetooth off and on again on my phone and power cycled the Fitbit as well.  When I remove the Blaze and then try to pair it again, my phone rejects it.  I can only see Blaze Classic, which is the music control portion, and that doesn't really solve my problem.

Any other LG G4 users here who have the Blaze and have encountered this issue?

A warm welcome to the Forums @Bodym0vin and thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself. Keep in mind that your phone needs to be compatible in order to work with your Fitbit. LG G4 is not compatible and that might cause some inconveniences to sync. You can follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post but I don't guarantee it will work 100%, you can also keep an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update.

Hi Alejandra,

Thanks for the response.  I'm well aware of the G4 not being on the compatible devices list but had heard from others that it worked with their Blaze and so I bought it last year.

That said, uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit software from my G4 and then re-pairing my Blaze with the phone worked.  It's now syncing normally so other than Mercury being in retrograde yesterday I'm not sure what caused the disconnect.  🙂
