Location Services Disabled notification

The most recent update to the iOS app keeps sending the Location Services Disabled notification to the phone about once every two minutes. This only started after the update. 

 

I have have no intention of ever turning on Location Services, and this notification never appeared before this app update. 

 

Also, any suggestions to shut off Bluetooth Syncing do not address the underlying issue. I want to get text and other notifications on my Fitbit, so this suggestion is unacceptable. 

 

Please address the problem caused by the recent app update.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. So we can move forward with this, can you please let me know which iOS mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If possible, can you please send me a screenshot of the notification you're receiving? Please refer to this post to do so. In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the iOS version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persists.
