Logo frozen onto Blaze screen.

After charging my Blaze overnight, the Fitbit logo is frozen on the face.  I cannot get it to change nor can I restart it.  Also, when trying to sync it with my phone, my phone tells me the tracker is not found.  I have checked and the bluetooth is on.

Welcome to the Community @DaisyJane. If your tracker is frozen and it's not responding, I recommend Restarting your Blaze, after the restart process the Blaze should respond and work properly.

I hope this works, let me know the outcome.

DaisyJane, did you ever get your issue resolved?  I am having the same problem as you.  I charged it for two hours last night, unplugged it, and when I put it on this morning the time and date were wrong.  I had an update, and tried doing so and it would not work.  I restarted it, and now it's stuck at the Logo screen and I am unable to restart it again.

Hi,

I am having the same problem. The FitBit logo has been frozen to the screen of my Blaze for over two days. I've tried restarting by holding the back and bottom right buttons at the same time to no avail. The logo will flash, but not do anything else. The logo is currently flashing every 5 seconds.

When the battery starts to drain, my Blaze starts to work as usual, but that's when the battery is critically low. I recharge, and then it goes back to a frozen logo screen.

@AmyByrne have you tried the restart procedure mentioned above, it's been mentioned that sometimes it takes up to 3 tries. The other thing to try when it is working would be to swipe over to settings_tap_scroll down_then shutdown. Now press ambition to restart. This will fix some problems that the restart procedure won't.

How do you restart the Fitbit?

Please help. My Fitbit blaze has frozen after recharging on the time screen. I don't know how to restart. I don't have a button on the back. Just one on the left and two on the right.

It appears more and more people are having the same issue as am I. Unfortunately no one here has posted an update with what it took to fix. I have tried all of the above in the unit Still will not work. Screen is locked with just the fit bit logo, will not reset, screen is unresponsive to swipes

Apparently this is a software/device defect and requires a replacement. Just received my RA a couple of minutes ago. Customer service was very responsive and aware of the issue.

If you have tried the suggestions above with no luck, then I would suggest following @AlejandraFitbit's suggestion above and contact the support team.

If your blaze shows the setup screen, it will not have the swipe bf function and restart will bearing you back to the same screen.. It is telling you that the Blaze needs to be setup through a supported device.

Okay, like others in this post, my Blaze has frozen on the logo screen several times. With each frozen event, I have attempted restart several times, etc, with zero results.  After sticking back on charger, I have returned to normal working condition, except with minimal battery life.  My Blaze now requires charging daily as it doesn't hold charge for more than 12-15 hours maximum.  After contacting customer service today, I am being sent a replacement with the following instructions:

1. Never charge for more than 2 hrs at a time

2. Always use computer to charge rather than wall adapter as a computer puts out the exact 5v required for charging

After looking back at instruction manual, the advice that customer service gave me is almost exactly identical to the charging instructions in the manual.  I will follow these guidelines (regardless of being less convenient) with my replacement and see if it'll hold out for longer than 2 1/2 months this time.  As skeptical as I may be, maybe this problem is user error.......we shall see.

When I took my blaze off the charger I realized that it was frozen on the logo.  I am unable to power it off or restart it.  How can I get this problem fixed?

My blaze continually frozen on tracker screen won't flick back to watch. This has been happening continually. When restart fixes the problem but after a coupl of hours back to frozen screen. Can't get to restart screen. Unless I charge battery. Even when I sync it still doesn't work. Not even a year old very frustrating.

It's great to have you here @Cazzd! This shouldn't be happening. I would like you to make sure that you've restarted your tracker correctly. When does it started happening?

Hope this helps. Keep me posted.

I just got home tonight and am experiencing the same problem. It is stuck on the Logo screen and nothing changes.

I did attempt the restart, but it just comes back to the same screen.

I placed it on the charger and nothing.
