Lost my steps after I corrected the timezone on the Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've lost all my steps on my blaze and in the fitbit app.  This occured after I did two things:

I updated the timezone, it was previously Pacific instead of Eastern which is the time zone I live in.  I accumulated the steps in the Eastern time zone but Fitbit tracked these steps as if i was in Pacific.

At the same time, I synced the Blaze to my Iphone because I got a new phone.  The fitbit restarted during the syncning process and when it turned back on- all steps were removed.

I just started a Fitbit challenge, so I'm hoping to get my steps back!  Any help would be great! thanks

Hi there @walkathon. Good to see you in the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're having with your steps not appearing on the app.

I think that changing time zones might have created a discrepancy and that's why you don't see your steps. Has it come back to normal after that or are you still having issues with your steps not showing up?

I'm not sure that your previous steps can be retreived but just to be sure, you can restart your tracker by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds until your tracker reboots. After that, see how it goes and let me know if you need more help with this!
