Love my “new old” Blaze!

In early 2016 I bought a Fitbit Blaze to replace a Charge HR, and used the Blaze for a little over 2 years and loved it. Eventually, I replaced it with a Versa. I gave my Blaze to my adult daughter, and never saw it again . . . . until this morning! My wife and I had been using Charge 5 trackers, and hers gave up the ghost - bad battery - and so I gave her mine to use. Well, my daughter told me she still had the Blaze I had given her 5 years ago, would I like it back? I said Sure, why not?

So, I fired up the ol’ Blaze and I’m really impressed. It was introduced January 2016, so it’s 8-1/2 years old - but it charged, bluetoothed it to my iPhone 13, synced it easily, and it’s tracking like a madman. So I’ve got my old old old Blaze back and am happier than snot.

It’s truly an irony that the Blaze is going strong after 8-1/2 years, and my wife’s Charge 5 died after a short 13 months . . . .

Active: Charge 5, Blaze
Retired: Charge HR, Versa
