Love the Blaze but it’s beginning to look a little tired and will need replacing in the next 3-6 months and wondered if anyone had any idea whether there will be an update to the Blaze? I don’t want an Ionic BTW... too chunky... bad reviews... higher price... but the VO2 monitor would be good as and when it gets an app to take advantage of it. Anyway, just wondered if those more in the know might have any inclination of a future Blaze update. Thanks.

If there is, I doubt anyone will be talking. BTW, I have both and just held the Blaze over the Ionic on my wrist and they are practically the same size.

The Blaze is wider, the Ionic a little longer

Thanks for the responses. There are various concerns raised around the strap coming away from the watch and unstable software. Are these exaggerated in your opinion or is it worth to wait until such bugs have been corrected? Thanks

@SunsetRunner which watch are you referring to?
On the blaze the strap is attached to the frame. I'm not sure what unstable Fitbit app software that your referring to or what bands come off, with the exception of one third party band, I haven't had this problem.

Thanks. I was referring to the Ionic where the two key pieces of feedback relate to the bands not being stable and coming off during exercise and the software which enables music to be loaded.

I would be happy if they would just fix the battery issues with the first one before releasing a new one. Fingers crossed.
