Low HR with weight machines

So I have realised for a while now that my HR differs greatly between cardiovascular and strength training.

My heart rate is around 140-160 whilst I'm running on a treadmill/outside or on an elliptical. But when I'm using the weight machines my heart rate is between 90-110 even though my muscles are aching during the exercise (each machine, 3-4 sets of 12).

I know there is supposed to be a difference between the two but not by much like I have it.

The other thing I noticed is: my resting heart rate is 60-65. But the slightest activity like getting up from my desk to get some water send my HR over 110 into the fat burning zone.

I was under the impression that the more active you are the more effort you need to put into raising your heart rate. My walk just to Uni and back gives me active minutes though I don't think I'm walking that fast. I go to the gym quite regularly (2-3x) and have Kickboxing (2-3x) during the week.

Does anyone have a similar experience? or does anyone know why this is happening?

It's great to see you around @Chocobo9. If you are seeing an inaccurate heart rate information, I recommend restarting your Blaze. Also, please take a look at this post, where you will be able to see some information about what might affecting your reading and some tips to improve it.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy
