Low Workout Heart Rate

Anyone els have a super low heart rate while exercising?? This is the second blaze I have tried, and it won't go above 124, and I'm lucky if it gets that high! I've tried it higher on my wrist, and I've done a reset mutiple times. My Charge HR is WAY more accurate. I feel like if it happens all the time it might be fixed in an update, but this is dissappointing 😞 Don't really want to switch to Garmin. . . it's not as pretty, but does have more functionality, and could hopefully be more accurate.

I have had mine up to ~170... Have you tried resetting ? (Hold down the left and bottom right buttons until the device reboots)

Yep, I have. A few times. It's so weird, because my charge hr reads it fine, so I assumed the Blaze would be just as good. I've tried wearing it higher and lower on my wrist, and tighter and less tight. I'm starting to wonder if it's just the way it fits on my wrist 😞

I can tell you that it definitely has a difficult time with a  rapidly increasing heart rate; sometimes it will get close, but it isn't reliable. The highest I've  EVER gotten my heart rate to with my blaze has been about 184, and I haven't been able to get it above ~170 ish since. It is definitely wrong because my chest strap always has me @ 190-200 ish for my max when I am pushing it. Your max hr and your avg heart rate are going to be lower on your Blaze than what it actually is-- count on that.

I have the same complaint with my Blaze. I can get my heart beating out of my chest and get an 85 or 90 reading. My Charge HR was much better.

I've since found that it is far more accurate if i go in and tell it im working out. It seems like the heart rate in a workout is more real time, and the regular heart rate is like a 10 minut average or something.
