Major Issues Fitbit Blaze April 3rd 2016

Got a Blaze approx. 4 weeks ago.
Very happy with it.
Today is the first day with major issues.
Says that I have done 54 flights of stairs, despite barely doing 2.
Also, it won't swipe away from the clock face. I can swipe down for notifications, and up for music controls, but no left or right.
I tried re-pairing, but that had no effect.
I'm very upset, and can't return it (it's beyond the refund time frame) and get a new one.
Can someone at Fitbit PLEASE HELP?!

Have you tried a restart the Blaze?

Hold the left button and lower right for 15 seconds

You may be beyond a return for a refund, but I think it should still be under warrenty. Which means it can be replaced.

 

But the issue with countng flights of stairs has been an ongoing issue for several weeks, if not months. And not just on the Blaze. The Charge HR does it as well. So my guess is that is more of a software glitch that FitBit needs to fix. But by their track recod on fixing issues, it will be months before its fixed. If at all.
