Milage seams to only add when walking & not on bike

I've done two bike ride it's shows up on the GPS connection from the phone to the app I have done 7 miles today on bike but on the top of the main app it shows steps, floors, miles, mins but the miles is showing 0.74 when I've done 7 miles

Biking is not step based so it wont be accurate for steps. Also wrist trackers do not count steps when you hold on to something.

 

I have read where some bikers put it in their pocket but it still wont be accurate

Im not aware of any problems with iOS, on android the connected GPS and bike mode the milage is correct
