Ever since I switched from my charge hr to the blaze, my miles have decreased. I am 6" 6' and I average about 1900-2000 steps per mile. I went into settings to update my stride length, bit it is still putting my average to 2250 steps per mile. Help

i have the same problem, i contacted support but all they told me to do was a hard reset and explained how to put in my stride length in settings, which i had already done and it shows the correct stride length in settings but counts a different stride length. This is very frustrating since they seem not to understand my problem (maybe i explain it not very well since english is my secod language). As of now the problem is still not fixed. How did you fix yours? Did you contact support?
Thank you.

I contacted support, they replaced my Blaze but it did not fix the issue. I am hoping for an update.

Obviously the sync is not updating the stride length to the Blaze. I am having the same issue. My Nike running app shows the correct mileage, but not the Blaze. Sounds like they need to do a firmware update to fix the Sync issue.

My Blaze is off as well. I have updated my stride but whenever I walk on the treadmill it shorts me by almosr 2 miles. So I am certain tht my everyday use is off as well. How did you get it to fix??

Same is happening with mine. It used to take slightly less than 10,500 for 5 miles, which I have verified as correct on my One, but I need over 12,000 to get 5 miles on my Blaze.

Yeah I figure it isn't pulling the sride length from our profiles. The only problem is the firmware updates are so slow. There is one from last week that I still haven't gotten.

I have had the same issue since I got the Blaze, I have changed the stride length just to see if changing it for a day would change the distance per step and it seems to always stay the same like it is ignoring the stride length. I have not found a fix yet.

I have the Blaze my friend has the Charge HR we both walked the same walk, my friends Charge HR registered 5 miles whilst my Blaze registered 2.5 miles. The other day I did 20.000 steps according to my Blaze I walked 2.5 miles, this cannot be right.
I have tried to do an update but received message fitbit up to date.
Can anyone help me please as this is surely wrong.
Many thanks Milo19

Setting my stride to 3'11.5" fixed the problem for me, but if I use my One the mileage is way off.

The first question is are you using the connected GPS, if so then stride won't matter.
