I totally understand where you're coming from and I would recommend voting for this feature suggestion to have XL bands available in other colors/materials. You can click here to see the suggestion and add your vote and comments to it and hopefully soon we can have more options.

Agreed! While fitbit sells leather bands in S and L, I can't find ANYTHING for my husband's XL wrist apart from the standard plastic/whatever band. He's got a reaction on his wrist and can barely wear it with the standard band. All the aftermarket ones concentrate on smaller wrists as well. This is super frustrating!
