Music apps while tracking exercise

I want to play music from my Spotify and pandora apps while using the GPS to track my exercise (like while walking or riding my bike), but for some reason I can choose from a list (that seems to be from the device itself?), and so far, it has only played two songs by U2 - which just so happens to be one of my least favorite bands :(. Is there a way to play music from my apps while tracking my exercise?

A warm welcome to the Forums @Mana.101. At the moment of doing an activity you just need to press the button on your Blaze (upper right corner) and you will be able to see that it will display the option to play, pause and change the song. If you haven't setup the music control feature, please tell me which phone you have so I can provide you the correct instructions to do this.
