Music control wakes up phone

Recently got the fitbit blaze and ran into a small problem. Is there a way to disable the fitbit from waking my phone up every time I use the music control. I am currently using a galaxy s7. Changing music or the volume makes the screen turn on and it caused me to get locked out of my phone because it was bouncing everywhere in my bag.

A warm welcome to the Community @BlackAce. It's weird to hear that the music control feature is turning on your phone's display. Have you tried to restart your phone? If you haven't, I recommend trying this.

I tried that 😞 music control was still the same.
