I've had my Blaze for 3 days and cannot get the music controls or the auto recognition exercises to work. It is paired with my phone which is a Galaxy S6 Edge.

I'd recommend making sure that your tracker is syncing properly to your account. To ensure that, please try to set up your tracker as a new device by following these instructions. This will refresh all connections so that you can try streaming music on your phone and try controlling it from your Blaze.
Now, once you've made sure your tracker is paired to your account and syncing, you can go to your tracker settings and make sure that the times for "Automatically Recognized Exercises" is set to the values you'd like. For example that after 10 minutes walking, it recognizes it as such activity and the same for others.
