Music controls not connecting.

So I'm new to fitbit, the blaze being my first tracker, so maybe I'm missing something. I've connected my phone (android) to my tracker no problems via Bluetooth. The tracker sync info using the app, but when I go to pull down my music controls it constantly states it is "connecting..." and never actually connects, leaving me unable to control my music. If it makes any difference I use the Google Play Music app to play my music. Please someone help!!!

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

I have the same problem. I have a Google Nexus 5X

The app is syncing steps etc but notifications or music control isn't working when paired in "bluetooth classic" mode

Music control works through Bluetooth Classic and notifications work through Bluetooth Low Energy. First thing to check is to scroll down notification bar at the top of the screen, do you see an entry that says "Fitbit notifications are running"?
Second is to make sure the Blaze shows as connected in the Phones BY menu. If it doesn't try forcing a symc.
Third is to go to your phones sound setting and make sure that "Show on lock screen" is enabled.
Finally check the settings in the app., them tap on the settings gear and send test message.

Fixed ? no.  It is very plain broken Smiley Sad.  Occasionally the Blaze music controls work and occasionally I get notifications from the app on the phone, but usually they are 3-4 hours after the actual events.

The bluetooth notification and media integration is very poor (at least on android, not tried iOS).  The fact that it is intermittant suggests it had little testing (my Phone is a relatively new Google Nexus 5X)
