My Blaze and My New Account

So, I got a blaze and accidentally synced it to my old fitbit account. Right after the syncing, I deleted my account and started a new one so I could start with a clean slate. Now, my blaze won't sync to my new account. Will I have to wait the 48hrs to try syncing it to my new account or is there another way to do it?

Welcome to the forums!

 

First off you can not delete an account. Fitbit would have to do it for you. So it is still active.

If you dont want that account then go back in and remove the tracker from that account

Contact fitbit to remove it.

 

Add you tracker to the new account.

@tacoturtle logging into your new account, it needs to have a different email than the first account, and adding the tracker to this new account will automatically remove the tracker from the old accoun

So if the tracker is still sending its data to the old account, it has not been setup to the new account yet.

As @WendyB states a fitbit account can not be deleted by a user, however the email address associated with the account may be changed. Then a new account may be created with the wanted email address since it is no longer associated with the old account.

Yes, my old account is in the process of being deleted. I've already replied with confirm and hit the button to delete my account, so I no longer have access to that account. I did all that before I removed the tracker to my new account.
