My Blaze died after being NEXT to water?? Help?

I just got back from a 4 day hotel stay. 1 of the nights I forgot to take my Blaze off before heading to the hot tub. I sat with my feet in for awhile, then before getting all the way in, I took it off, and set it I would guess about 1 1/2 feet from the edge. While it was steamy, there was no slopping, or excessive spilling of water.

The next morning the screen was dark, I charged it, it was fine. The morning after that, the screen was dark, I tried to re start it, then to charge like the day before, but it was completely dead.

This blaze, I am sure is over a year old.

I think the reason for my post is two part. One part asking if there is anything I can do to bring it back to life, and second to share that 'water resistant' is so very fickle. I am so disappointed. I use the information given by my fitbit daily.

Thanks for reading.

Hi @zassou  try putting the Blaze into a dry bowl of rice to remove any moisture that may be inside. After 48 hours or so, clean all the connectors, including those in the charger unit. Charge it , restart it and see what happens. Let us know what happens.
