I got an email as well saying that my Blaze is on it's way!!!  Supposed to arrive today, but with the storm I'm starting to wonder Smiley Sad

@racertempo moat companies will send out what is availible at the time of shipping, amd let you know the status of the test of the order.
Maybe they should of emailed saying that the whole shipment can not be shipped at this time, would you like a partial order?, but they did nor, they shipped the way almost all other companies would ship.

I quoted Salina81 from a couple earlier posts, that was her issue.  It does seem weird that a pre-order would get labeled as back-ordered already.

 

I ordered Best Buy becasue I was able to trade in Hilton points for Best Buy credit, and as of now there has been no update to their shipping date.  They still just have their place-holder date of 3/1.  Fitbit did confirm that was not a hard-date, but jus tthe place holder.  The leather band had a 3/1 date when I ordered in mid-January, but the Blaze itself had "TBD".  

 

Althought I literally just read Emerson's post which has me very excited....it says this for those who ordered through a distributor like me:

Just got my hands on my order today!  Very please.  Quick update, charge for ~1 hour or so, and it's on the wrist as we speak!  I'm interested to try it out at the gym this evening after work and to see how well the battery holds up.

I ordered a large blaze in black, a small in blue, and a small grey leather band on 1/6, then a metal link band on 1/14. The two Blaze amounts and the metal link band came out of my account on Friday 2/19, and the grey leather band amount came out today. The Blazes themselves arrived yesterday. The metal link band shows shipping info sent to Fedex on Monday 1/22 with an estimated delivery date of tomorrow, yet Fedex has no info on picking up the package or it moving anywhere, so I don't expect delivery tomorrow. The leather band has no shipping info at present. Very complicated. 🙂

 

On the upside, I love the Blaze, and I think my husband likes his as well. I've got a Flex, a Surge and a Charge HR already, and he was replacing a Basis Peak. I have done some yoga with it, and ran on the treadmill this morning. So far so good.

@Leonhouston25 I just spoke with Fitbit about the plum blaze and they said it is backordered and she assumed it was because they were shipped to customers and retailers who pre-order.

I pre-ordered the plum small through Nordstroms website and the Fitbit rep told me they are shipping to retailers and customers now. Hopefully she's right and I get mine from Nordstrom soon!

Rich, the problem is that for product launch shipments, Fitbit will generally fulfill distributor orders before customer pre-orders so the issue is not a partial shipment issue as much a business relationship vs individual customer relationship priority. There should be enough unit quantitiy set aside to fulfill Fitbit.com pre-orders up  through a particular pre-order date (not as if this is some guesstimate, and these are some of the most loyal users) but that would be putting pre-order customers first, something Fitbit has never done.

I got an email that mine is supposed to arrive today also, but when I sign in to check the tracking on fedex.com, it doesn't show any shipping data. Only that they received the shipping label. 😞 I hope it comes soon.

Amazon notified me my Blaze would arrive March 2.

@Surina81 All preorders are slated to arrive by the date that displayed when the order was placed - no preorders are on backorder. We were very happy to ship some inventory ahead of those dates, as it became available a little early - however, that wasn't true for all items. 

 

I'm sorry we weren't able to provide early delivery for your entire order, but hopefully it helps to know that everything is still slated to deliver on-time.

Had the same problem with Fitbit this morning...Paid for 3 day shipping, and obviously will not be here today...they said I can call back tomorrow to get a refund for shipping. They first tried telling me that it was 3-5 day shipping when obviously in the email it says 3, and when you select it from their website it is 3. Pretty bad customer service.

since i got my shipping notification.. (it says it will come Friday) these week feels like they are DRAAAAGGINGG.. i've been waiting what seems like forever! Where's Friday?! lol

Mine is in the town where I live and being transferred to USPS despite not being set to be delivered until Friday. If the postal service holds it up for a day I'll be a bit pissed at them.

OMG! Well I'm very happy for you!!! My husband and I ordered a large black that he received today and I ordered a small plum. I've contacted Fitbit twice since mine didn't ship at the same time and was told 3 different reasons as to why it didn't ship!!!! The 1st reason was they ship different sizes at different times, lol!!!! That was a good one I thought, LMAO!!!! Then I was told it would be May, then I was told March!!! Oh and I was told the 1st time a label had been created and would ship soon!!! NOT!!! So, I have no idea when or IF I'll get one!!!! VERY FRUSTRATED with FITBIT!!!!

@am92097 Hopefully it helps to hear that all Blaze preorders are expected to ship on-time, and will arrive by the date displayed when you placed your order. We were happy to be able to ship some inventory ahead of schedule (like your husband's tracker), but obviously not everything shipped early. Don't worry though - your order is definitely not delayed.

@am92097 - That sucks!  When did you place the orders?  (I ordered mine on 1-7.). I see on the Fitbit website they are already on back order - shows 1-2 weeks.

I know!! I didn't order until 1-19, so they are probably shipping in order, I hope!!!
