I think @Triciapop3 may have read an old forum post about someone accidentally getting charged in January. Since we have shipping tracking numbers, it is being shipped this year.

I too got a notice that my Blaze has shipped. I paid for next day shipping and it shows that it is supposed to be delivered today. However the tracking for FedEx is showing "Initiated" and they haven't even received the product to ship yet, so I'm skeptical that I will receive it today.

It will probably get delivered tomorrow. The way fitbit estimates delivery date assumes the package is picked up the same day as its marked shipped.

That's fine but I will be requesting a credit for the next day shipping as they stated in the post and on FedEx site that shipment was to be delivered today not tomorrow. I hold companies responsible for what I pay for and if they don't meet their stated objective I am going to get that extra money back.

You are getting what you paid for. The stated objective was early March, and your package was shipped via Next Day Air. So if anything, your package was early.

It says "Delivery to be made Monday March 22 by 4:30pm" what in god's green earth about that says "well since it's supposed to be shipped in early March just be glad you got it at all"?
And no I paid to have Next day delivery which means exactly what it says, it ships one day and you get it the next.
They said it shipped on Saturday February 20th and sent the information to FedEx, which showed it will be delivered on Monday February 22nd by 4:30pm. Any one with half a brain cell could figure out that if you paid extra no matter how much sooner it is getter here that it still has to meet the requirement of what they said in their email.
It's documented proof.
Fedex seldom picks up on Saturday and there's no movement on Saturday of packages unless the shipper specifically requests it. Obviously this is an issue with the what is being displayed. The package will start shipment today and you'll receive it tomorrow. Oh noes! It's going to be a date later than what was incorrectly stated! The world is going to end!!!!!
