I don't really think people are getting the point. My point is that I get an email that says my item has shipped and it really hasn't. I didn't mind not getting it until March I just think that if you send notice of shipment with a date that the item should be delivered, the item should arrive when told. If your not going to send the item out then just don't say anything.

Despite the disgusting weather yesterday, my mailman delivered my Blaze!!!!  Set it up last night, wore it to bed and all day today!!!  Can't wait to test it out at the gym.

@skanelis1402 IKR! It's annoying, Fitbit decided to be nice and ship out early. The only lesson to be learned here, is always order from Fitbit. I guess some want people to learn not to get their hopes up, but Fitbit needs to notify the ESTIMATED delivery date not the 'if it doesn't come when they said I'll get angry'. Everyone, in my opinion, needs to just wait until March 1st, give em a few days maybe it will come, maybe not. Then tell them it's not coming and see when it should come, I understand the excitement, but please don't get upset with Fitbit.

I think I have a legitimate complaint, as do many others.  I paid for NEXT DAY shipping.  They emailed stating the tracker was shipped Monday, meaning that I should have received it Tuesday.  Okay, great... but it's now Thursday and still don't have the package in-hand yet.  They did NOT ship the items NEXT DAY, but instead Fedex Ground.  And the items weren't given to Fedex for transport until yesterday (Wednesday).  Trying to get the shipping charges refunded ($20) was like pulling a full mouth of teeth...  the customer service reps lied and contorted the truths multiple times (I had to make three separate phone calls) in order to keep from giving the refund I deserved.

I would have been perfectly happy getting the tracker in March, that's when I expected it.  But don't say it shipped next day and then not have me receive it for several days afterwards.

@SunsetRunner I definitely hear where you're coming from, and I agree that our communication could be better around shipping. To be clear, emails were sent as the shipping process began - that process involves several steps, starting with deciding it's time to ship, and ending with putting a box on a truck for delivery.

Anyone who paid for overnight shipping should receive their order via that delivery method - but we would still expect more than 24 hours between the first step of the shipping process and the actual delivery.

Sounds like it would be less confusing if we send emails only once your package was ready for delivery, rather than when the process began.

@MatthewFitbit  That has never been the case though, and I've placed multiple orders with you.  Your company does NOT ship using "next day" shipping.  Every order I have placed requesting such (over numerous years) has always shipped some other slower method.  This time, packages were shipped Fedex Home Delivery, which is ground.

On top of that, the email subjects are quite clear to anyone who reads them:  "Today is the day! Your order has been shipped."  That's fine, but if that's the case, the product should arrive the next day assuming next day shipping is requested and paid for.

Again, this has never, in my long history of using your products, ever actually happened.

Mine is a few hundred miles away.  @MatthewFitbit - the overnight thing sounds like it needs to be fixed or not sold that way.  For me - mine was always regular shipping and I appreciate the ability to see where it has stopped/started each day on its journey to me.  I'm set to receive mine on Monday - several days ahead of 3/1.  So thank you

Not sure how there shipping process works, but when orders are shipped at my job and also use the email notification within FedEx Ship Manager to send out emails we make sue to only select the Upon pick up check box.  That way customers dont get a email when the tag is created.

I went ahead and ordered a second one on Tuesday. I paid for overnight and plan to send the regular shipping one back when it gets here March 10th.  When I ordered, I knew it was past 11 am and wouldnt go out on Tues.  But it did ship yesterday (Wednesday) and the Fed Ex guy just dropped it off at my door.  Overnight worked great for me up to Alaska!

I was just notified through my tracking that mine is now at the local US Post Office and should be delivering tomorrow instead of Monday!  Happy Dance!  (Or should that be steps? LOL)

I ordered my FitBit Blaze yesterday around 1pm central time. Paid for the over night shipping. Got notification that it had shipped by 6 pm. Received today at 12 pm. I did order the Large Black. Over all I'm pretty happy with my experience. Loving it so far!

I agree. While I requested overnight shipping, it ended up going ground. Despite everything on my order emails saying overnight. I will admit that I was a little bummed about not getting it as soon as I could have, but it's two weeks before I expected it. I did a customer service live chat and found the rep to be quite helpful. A refund was credited for shipping and my blaze should be here by the first. Whatever went wrong should definitely be corrected, but I also understand with all roll outs there are glitches. If shipping times are the biggest buggiest issue, then I know I'll be happy with my blaze.

Now that some blazes have been shipped and fitbits website no longer says pre-order if I order it now would it ship right away? Or am I better off ordering from brookstone?

I want the small purple if that matters.

Mine was shipped yesterday saying it would be here Monday. I checked and it laid at Fitbit for an entire day then actually went to FedEx today with a 3/2 (Wednesday) delivey date.

Glad I didn't ask for overnight!

*happy dance* My Blaze is out for delivery!!

Summary:

Ordered Tuesday night around 9

Wednesday the order was processed

Fedex actually received the package late wednesday night

Out for Delivery on Friday.

So yeah, "technically" fedex scanned it at midnight on Thursday, so if I'm receiving it on Friday that's "technically" Overnight. So @MatthewFitbit if you're talking with the team about what to do better, maybe change the name of Overnight to Expedited or something like that. May help to avoid confusion. Or if you're going to keep calling it overnight, actually use Fedex Priority or UPS instead of using Fedex Ground.

But hopefully mine will show up shortly and I'll get to have some fun 🙂
