My Blaze survived war and back aka the washer and dryer.

I just have to give a huge shoutout to Fitbit. So, most likely do to my cold medicine fog brain, I threw my sweatshirt in the washer. And of course I forgot that my Blaze was in the pocket.  Washed that load and put it in the dryer. I opened the dryer and was sick to my stomach when I saw my Blaze laying on the clothes. I took it out and put it on the charger and it started right up. I could not believe it. It works just perfectly and charged normally. Seriously I am so thankful! Pretty sure an Apple Watch couldn't survive that. Thank you Fitbit! (And FYI my Fitbit One that I still wear survived a parking lot and getting hit so their products are like the Engerizer Bunny).

Sincerely,

I've heard of the One surviving a wash and spin but not heard of the Blaze doing it. Great to hear that some (if not, sadly, all) can survive what their owners throw at them.

One thing I would recommend to others in this position is that the chances of surviving are increased if the fitbit is put into a bag of dry rice for 24 - 48 hours to draw out any moisture before charging (electricity + water = bad)

Thanks for the good news story!

I didn't have that luck with the one.  But had great customer service.  In the process of it being replaced I brought the blaze confident with excellent customer service.
