My Blaze will not stay connected to my Galaxy S6 bluetooth

I had no problems syncing my Blaze to my Galaxy S6 phone, but I noticed that after awhile I was not getting my notifications.  When I checked my bluetooth settings on my phone I saw that my Blaze was not connected so I connected it again.  This continues to be an ongoing problem.  I'm having to check my phone to make sure that my Blaze is connected.  Today I had to reconnect it three times.  Is it my phone or the Blaze that's giving me problems?  I don't have this problem with any other devices that are synced with my phone.

I've had issues a couple of times with bluetooth, but it's always been resolved within a couple of minutes. I find that if I hard reset (hold the left button and the lower right for a few seconds) the watch it often is remedied; you should also turn off your bluetooth on your phone and then reconnect if you still have problems. After doing both of those, I typically do not have any more problems.

Thanks @AdamMSC.  So far it's staying connected.  Yay!

That does not solve the problem of the Blaze continually disconnecting from bluetooth.

You know it actually didn't, but I found that if I don't mess with it, in time it reconnects on it's own.  Go figure!

  1. Im wondering if the conversation is about the BT Classic or BTLE.

If it is the BTLE then the app will reconnect when doing a sync.

If it's BT Classic I haven't had a problem with it disconnecting but ocaisionally have had to unpair/repair to get the music control to work.

I have a FitBit Classic.  It seems to be working fine now.  I just wish I could read my messages from it.

So HOW did you fix it? Since the update, I've had problems with my Blaze reconnecting to my Bluetooth. For instance, if I am out of range and then come back into range, my Blaze will not automatically reconnect with my BT on my Samsung Galaxy 5S

I was restarting my Blaze everytime it lost connection.  Now for some reason it's no longer disconnecting as much as it used to.  If I am out of range and it disconnects, once I'm close to my phone it will re-connect but it takes a few minutes.  I've just kind of let it do it's thing rather than immediately trying to fix it.

I am looking for an answer to that also. I have a samsung note 4 with same problem. I have hard reset blaze, tried to unpair and repair blaze to phone, and also have a zte 959 that it won't work to reconnect to that phone automatically also. This has been extremely frustrating to say the least. If I do get an answer I will pass it along. If anyone can help, please let us know. I personally believe it is a firmware issue that they need to address to get the bluetooth to automatically connect to phone. No matter if you lose it by distance, turning bluetooth off and back on, or rebooting phone, the blaze will NOT automatically re-connect to phone. BOO!
