Hi @Blueeues74 Welcome to the forum.  Active minutes only record when you have a minimum of 10 or more continuous active minutes.

I am having a similar issue. For example. Say I start walking or playing tennis at 5:45 the I continue until 6:30, my Fitbit will log the exercise, but only recognize the active movement for the hour of 5 o clock. Somehow the exercise overrides the logging of the 250 step activity.

Hello @Blueeues74 welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 As @Eagle1 mentioned your Fitbit tracker recognizes and awards active minutes when the activity you're doing is more strenuous than regular walking, which includes everything from a brisk walk to a cardio workout or run. All Fitbit trackers calculate active minutes using metabolic equivalents (METs). You earn active minutes for activities at or above about 3 METs, active minutes are only awarded after 10 minutes of continuous moderate-to-intense activity. @Wellington I'm not sure I understand your issue, so I would like to ask some questions. Are you using SmartTrack to record the activity and then you add it manually?

I'll be around if you have any questions. 🙂
