My Fitbit blaze heart monitor stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve been on a few forums trying to figure out what’s going on. My Fitbit’s heart monitor was working fine until yesterday when it stopped working when I got up. I tried a hard reset using the buttons on the device. I tried to shutdown the device using the shutdown function in the settings menu. I’ve cleaned the device. I’ve charged it. I’ve messed with every setting on the app to turn the heart rate monitor on/auto/off and still I’ve gotten nothing. The green lights on the back are blinking. Yesterday it didn’t give me a good reading of anything, and today it counted my steps, but it seems very very inaccurate. I’m seeking some help please. I’ve tried everything I could find online and still have no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

My Blaze heart rate monitor, and sleep tracking no longer showing up? It was working until 8 May 2020 and since then it hasn’t worked.

I have new Fitbit app update

I have a Samsung which I haven’t changed

I have changed HR in Settings from on to off to on again

I have rebooted it several times

Please tell me what else I need to do?

Wondering if anyone faced similar issues and if it was resolved.

I’ve experienced the same and would love a fix to this issue.

I've noticed that my green lights have stopped entirely. I've gone through the various forums for this issue already, but none of the fixes worked for me.

Aside from putting in a support ticket, I don't think there is much else that can be done.

Oh, that sounds bad. I would advise you to contact Fitbit as they helped me
and mine is working now.
I contacted them yesterday through their website via Chatbox and the guy
named Kenneth helped me. I had to switch off my Fitbit and restart after a
couple of minutes. At this time the green light stopped working and heart
rate tracking remained blank. After Kenneth checked the problem and did
something at his end and it started working.
Good luck!

I finally gave up trying to get this resolved. I did contact Fitbit and they were not able to fix the problem and, in my opinion, did not stand behind their product. My Blaze was just three years old. They offered me a 20% off coupon from their website. Not enough for me to commit to another Fitbit. I purchased an Apple iWatch and couldn't be happier! So much better than my Blaze ever was. I'm just sorry I did not purchase Apple from the start three years ago.
