My active minutes have vanished

Hi there,

I clocked up 88 active mins this afternoon, but they have since vanished. I am new to Fitbit Blaze and was wondering if this is a common issue? I know it’s not a big deal, but I worked bloody hard to close that circle. Is there a way to get that data back?

A warm welcome to the Community @HolliL.

Could you please tell me how are you logging your activity, are you manually logging it, are you letting SmartTrack do the job or are you selecting the activity directly from the Blaze? Also, which activity were you doing?

In the meantime, for more information about active minutes, you can take a look at the What are active minutes? article.

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

I just let the Fitbit track my mins automatically, it was showing my minutes for most of the day, then all of a sudden they just disappeared. Everything else (calories burned, steps, stairs, km) had the correct reading apart from the active minutes. Just want to know if it’s a problem with my blaze, so I can take it back and get an exchange.

Thanks for the update @HolliL, I recommend logging out and logging back in to your account. Then check if your active minutes are there again.

Catch you later. Smiley Happy

I’ve now lost wednesdays walk as well. I entered it manually, was there this morning but has also gone! I’ve tried logging out and back in, with no joy!

Thanks for the information @HolliL.

When you manually log an activity, some of your information might vanished. At the moment of manually logging "walk" your active minutes decreased, that's why I don't recommend manually logging "walk" or "run".

If you want to add again that activity, you just need to do the following from your Fitbit app:

  1. On the Fitbit app dashboard tap the Exercise tile to open your exercise history. This is the tile that says "Track exercise" or shows how many days you've worked out this week.
  2. Tap the stopwatch icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Log.
  4. Tap a recent activity or search for an exercise type.
  5. Adjust the activity details and tap Add.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy
