When I try to pair my Blaze with my phone (Samsung Galaxy NOTE 3), I get an error that says 'pairing rejected by blaze'. Blaze is set to 'pair' under 'bluetooth classic'

I managed to get my Blaze to finally work with my Note 8.
Went into the Blaze, and went to settings on the device. Chose to turn on Bluetooth Classic.
Went to my Note 8 and then "Blaze" and "Blaze (Classic)" came up as options. Chose Blaze (Classic) to pair with.
A Passkey came up on the phone and the Blaze. I hit yes on the Blaze.
Viola! It started syncing. This was after I tried all troubleshooting options, uninstalling the app, restarting the Blaze and the phone.
Hope this helps someone else who is wondering why the Classic option isn't showing or is getting the rejecting to pair message like I was.

Unfortunately that has not worked for me. I've tried it approximately 20 times in different orders and under various circumstances and configurations. How am I a "lucky one to have landed a device that won't eventually work like others'?!

@Wardlee for clarification what is it that is not happening? Different posts of yours in two threads seem to be vague. They point to no gps or no notifications, then a couple hint that it is not paired to the phone or app.

All of the above...
When I try to enable the gps on the device to track a run, it doesn't find the phone.
The notifications don't work at all.
I believe both of these are because when I try to connect to the phone, the blaze rejects my phone.
I have difficulty syncing in the app to update my daily progress, but it works eventually. I had to try about 20 times to connect to update my fitbit, and yesterday morning I finally was able to sync after 2 days of no syncing capabilities.

I had this problem when I got a new phone. Here's what worked. Delete the Fitbit app from your phone (it's was linked to my old phone and my pairing kept getting rejected). Then re-install on your phone and follow the prompts for "JOIN" even if you already have an account.

@User-545 to disconnect a Fitbit from a phone, go into the phones Bluetooth and. Remove the Blaze from there.. Removing the app will not disconnect it from e phone or disconnect it from the account.. There should not be a reason to set the tracker up with the new phone, simply install Fitbit and log in.

Hello
I use an android phone and tablet. I deleted the Fitbilt App from the tablet reinstalled it. I recharged the fitbit then followed the instructions/ It worked and has since. I do my best not to let the battery run out completely. Seems important but it did re sync after it was recharged.
Maybe the reinstalled app had had bug s fixed. So far so good.

That was the problem! I was trying to connect through my bluetooth settings. I had to do it through the fitbit app.

I have tried this method over 10 times without success. The funny thing is that my android app says it synched with the Blaze. When trying to connect to phone to track run, it can't find phone. I am confused.
