I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.  My Fitbit will only hold a charge for about 10-12 hours.  The Heart Monitor lights are no longer flashing (for the last year).  The green LED lights are on constantly and brightly.  I tried turning off the heart monitor function but that didn't work.  I don't know what to do, but a watch that loses its charge before supper time is not very useful.  HELP.
