My blaze won't turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit blaze was low on charge this morning, I have charged it and it was fine. I've come to look at it this evening and it isn't on at all - when I plug it in to charge it it's saying it's fully charged. But when I take it out it goes straight off  again. There is no green lights at the back they have gone off and won't come back on either. I have tried to reset it by using the left and right bottom buttons and still won't turn on. What is going on with it can someone please help me??

Hey @Drakos831 and @MPandey welcome to the Community, I appreciate the efforts in trying to fix this issue by yourselves.

@MPandey As you might know, the Blaze isn't a water resistant tracker, for more information take a look at the Can I swim or shower with my Fitbit device? article. If you have already swam with your tracker on, I recommend placing it in a bowl of rice, leave it there for 24 hours and then restart it.

@Drakos831 I recommend keeping an eye on your inbox for further instructions. In the meantime, check our warranty policy.

Keep me posted. Woman Happy

Same here.  It's fully charged but when I take it out of the charging cradle, nothing.  Per online chat this morning, I had to submit a very specific video via an upload link with a case number they had assigned me.  I haven't heard anything since doing that about 5 or 6 hours ago.

Thanks for the update @Drakos831 and @MPandey. I am glad to hear that you will be receiving a replacement, at the moment of receiving it, you just need to do the following from your Fitbit app to set it up:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Now @Kjohnson2, welcome to the Forums. I would like to know if you have heard back from our support team, have they offer you a solution for this?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

My Blaze will not turn on either. I tired the reset several times. The buttons don’t seem to do anything. Had it on the charger all night and still not responding to any reset.

They are replacing mine. I'm sure you'll get the same offer. I've only had mine for 2 months though so I'm definitely leary of Fitbit now.

i eventually got frustrated as no respite from fitbit. I then opened two screws myself n put that on charge overnight. Morning when i woke up i saw some light coming. I then configured that using App however the moment i took that out from charge, display vanished. I guess there is some problem with the battery. Unfortunately it’s not available in market 😐. Can anyone please help me with that? Thanks

Same here, 3rd time in about a year - 1st time they replaced and now this morning is the 2nd time I’ve had to contact them with similar issues.

nothing back yet but they’re usually fairly speedy. Beginning to wonder if another brand will be more reliable.

They have now decided to replace my charging cradle as that seemed to be the common issue. My replacement Fitbit would never charge either.

After several follow ups no convincing reply received of replacement my watch because they battery is irreplaceable so I decided to buy iwatch3 which is much more refined and of more or less same price.

I have tried everything that I have found online and in this community to try to get my Blaze to turn on, to reset. Nothing is working. It comes on when on charger, it’s fully charged, but when removed from cradle nothing, not even green lights
