@FittybittyTray may I ask what device is it plugged into, phone charger or computer port?

Did it give a slight vibration when plugging in?

As for determining if it is charging, you'll need to try the setup again, the only way to know at this point is through the app.

So lets open the app up and see what it does, you may leave the Blaze on its charger.

Had the same issue and fixed it.

Please try the following:

  • Let the Blaze charge for at least one hour even if the screen show only the fitbit.com/setup screen.
  • On your PC/phone, in the Fitbit app, select the Blaze icon to bring you the device screen. Then, delete this Blaze device.
  • In your PC/phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and delete the Blaze.
  • Go back to the Fitbit app, to the devices page and add a new Fitbit Blaze device.
  • Follow the normal setup instructions displayed.
  • Everything should be fine. Enjoy your Blaze 😉

@FittybittyTray what device are you using to charge your Blaze? Phone charger or PC, use the phone charger.

Did you feel a vibration when hooking the Blaze up to charge?

A cleaning should not be needed but q-tips and alcohol on the charging contacts work great.

Also leave the Blaze hooked up while doing the setup.

I had the exact same issue.  Blaze was stuck on www.fitbit.com/setup and setup with the app would not continue because it said the battery was too low.  I charged using wall charger and PC to no avail even charged overnight twice, once with the charger and once with the PC but still the same issue.

I called support and they sent me a replacement unit.  It charged successfully on the 1st attempt and setup was no problem.  I still have the original as they did not want it back and I've since tried to charge it several more times just to see what would happen but it is still dead.

Hello @baduck59 have you tried the new charger with the old Blaze?

It could very well be that the old Blaze doesn't work.

Rich,

Yes, I tried the new charger on the old Blaze and it still won't charge.  On the replacement unit that Fitbit sent me it will charge with no problem on the new charger or the charger that came with the first unit I received.   Thanks
