hello,
I brought the Fitbit Blaze about a month ago now. I wanted to wait before I posted any review or experience with the product.
The Good:
The Bad:
Overall:
I have had a great time using the fitbit blaze watch. It performs well and is not locked into one smartphone platform. The price for the unit is reasonable but the accessories are way over priced for what they are. For the Android user that would like to keep thier phone protected in their pockets, the lack of being able to answer phone calls like the Apple version is a disappointment.
Hopefully the next version of this watch will be more watch like and integrated..

The only feature not compatable with android is answering the phone. It is most likely due to the hudnreds of phones that includes, while the iOS includes less than a dozen.
Great third party bands are out there super cheap, and great quality, check out this link to a thread with more details. I wear a third party leagher magnetic daily now and love the comfort.
Nice review though

The Blaze accessories are way overpriced. The leather band is worth around $35 and the stainless steel frame $10 for a total of $45. They would be making a nice profit at that price point but instead charge double!

Welcome to the Community @AndrewMD and @bpetillo. @racertempo It's great to see you around and thanks for stopping by! I appreciate all your observations regarding the Fitbit Blaze. Here is a request about the Blaze clock faces, I recommend taking a look at it, vote for it and leave your comment. As mentioned the only feature that is not included in the Android platform is accepting calls, if you want other feature to be included, I recommend visiting our Ideas Board and share your suggestions, you can also include the price of the accessories there.
Keep the stepping up!
