My screen won't change when trying to swipe side to side. it only works when swiping up and down. so I can get to see notification and control my music. but can't see my fitstar, exercise, alarms and settings.please help

Do the buttons work? 

Try a restart off the trscker. 

Hold on both the left and lower right buttons.
