Hey everyone,
We're excited to announce that with Blaze's newest firmware update comes five new clock faces: Moment, Circuit, Ace, Nautical, and Argyle! In addition to more options, a second-hand has finally made its appearance on each of the new analog clock faces. Once you've updated, navigate to your Blaze's device settings and check them out!
Moment:
Time is at the top, date in the middle, and your stats at the bottom. Heart rate will always be shown on the left, while on the right you can cycle through steps, distance, calories, or floors by tapping the screen.
Circuit:
Current day is on the left, and a progress dial for a stat of your choice is on the lower right. The dial will fill up based on your progress toward your daily goal for whichever stat icon is showing (will always be a full circle for heart rate). The white dots represent each hour. You can choose from steps, heart rate, distance, calories, floors, and even your hourly activity.
Ace:
Date is at the top, and your stats are on the bottom. The white ticks represent the hours. Tapping the screen will cycle between steps, heart rate, distance, calories, or floors.
Nautical:
Featuring the date on the right and a 3-6-9-12 analog layout, this clock face will remain static (meaning you cannot interact with it by tapping), and does not display a daily stat.
Argyle:
Date is at the top, time is in the middle, and your stats will appear at the bottom. Only one daily stat can be displayed at a time (steps, heart rate, distance, calories, or floors), and can be cycled through with a tap.
You can also still choose from the four default clock faces (Zone, Pop, Original, Flare).
Feel free to post any feedback or questions about the new clock faces. Hope you enjoy!

Same here. I got my Blaze in the mail yesterday. I ordered it because I finally saw what I wanted. Fitbit adding better features through software. A step in the right direction. I now have it and it is awesome, but the update has not come through. Anxiously waiting for the rollout to hit my new buddy 🙂

Just wondering why the fitBIT new clock faces and firmware must be updated ONLY by syncing from the app dashboard if their technicians know the capacity of their POOR server bandwidth?
Even the U8 Smartwatch, price as low as 7 bucks only, offers a better way in distributing the clock faces and firmware update. Users could easily download the firmware files from many sources. So, there is no problem of delayed or partial release.

I have one of those U8 devices. Its a nice gadget, but does roughly nothing apart from tell the time and control music. The step counter is *really* bad.

I just want to show a better way in distributing firmware update to customers.
It is actually a smartwatch, not specially designed as a sport tracker.

@SunsetRunner I agree that the way they rolled out the update was really smart. Unfortunately, they way they stonewalled when there was a problem with the update was a little less awesome.

@meresydotes I can agree with that, but I think they were completely blind-sided by this, and nobody's perfect. They are fairly new at the smartwatch stuff, I'm willing to bet they'll be better prepared next time.
@NoahFit I'm assuming it's not important which operating system you use to access the blaze isn't important. The update really is just for the device itself. With that said, I'm not really sure. We could tally this here. Show of hands! Of those who got the update, state your device you use for your Dashboard!

Hello @Hut, @mcrmama is correct, this is a firmware update for your tracker and has nothing to do with the phone or computer that is being used. As the update in the main thread states as of 9/22 the update is now rolling out, I also noticed that the version is newer than the update my neighbor got on the morning of 9/22.
As for who gets it first, it has nothing to do with your phone or pc, I don't have it yet, it is simply based on some algorithm so that the servers do not crash

Neither did I and my neighbor got an older update on 22/9, and his wife is still two behind. So the four of us will be waiting for the rollout to reach us.

Can there be an update to the clock face moment? I like the layout but the color is not very vibrant and when wearing sunglasses while jogging it's hard to see. Great job on the faces but maybe offing the same face but in different colors would be nice.
It took 8 months to get the new faces, so don't hold your breath on any further updates.

They even made the original watchface better! Now it has points for every five minutes even when the whole circle for the steps goal is there.
