Hi. Got my new blaze delivered yesterday and it tracked 17000 steps but I only just took it out of the box! Then this morning I reset it and went for a 3k walk to test and it didn't track any of it. Help!!

Have you already set it up and customized it?

If so, Please restart your fitbit.

  1. Press and hold the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

If this doesn't work, please try turning your blaze on and then off.

  1. wipe right to left on the home screen to the Settings screen.
  2. Tap Settings and scroll down to Shutdown.
  3. Tap Shutdown and confirm.
  4. To turn your Blaze back on, press any button.
  5. Sync your tracker as soon as you turn it back on. If you don't, the time may be incorrect.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Juliette - I took all of those steps last night but will try again. It's a bit disheartening on my first day!

A warm welcome to the Community @ab84 and @kawaiiko thanks for stopping by.

If your tracker is not being accurate, as recommended, please restart your Blaze and adjust your stride length information by following the instructions provided in this post. After this, walk 100 steps and let me know how many your tracker registered.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
