Hi there @JJohnson2. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with the display on your Fitbit Blaze. Have you tried to restart it by any chance? For this you just need to press and hold the left and lower right buttons on your tracker for about 10-12 seconds.  This will make your tracker to reboot and after that you can see if this makes the display to show when out of the charger.

Let me know how it goes after restarting it.

I'm also moving your post to the Blaze board for categorization purposes.

I did try that.. it doesn't work still. When on charger I even get text messages. As soon as it comes out of charger it goes black and won't come on.

Hi there!

I tried that as well, however, my screen continues to display: Fitbit.com/setup

I setup everything online, after my attempt to download and setup via the app. Got halfway through, but then ran into a snag...so, online it was.

But, now the watch isn't doing anything at all ?

Hi there @Mellb. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Robot Very Happy

If you're seeing the Fitbit.com/setup screen on your Blaze, this means that it's not set up yet. If you have a mobile device, you can try to set it up there, it's usually easier that way. Just go into your account after creating it, go to the Menu section where you will find the Account and here look for the option that says "Set up a new device". Just follow the on-screen instructions and it should be all ready after that, the clock face screen and all the others should appear after the setup process.

Hi there,

I have just received my new Fitbit Blaze and have been attempting to set it up but cannot due to a low battery. However, although I have had it connected to an USB port it does not charge but instead remains on the 'Fitbit.com/setup' screen and does nothing else. I've also resetted it and it stays the same and does not power off as well. Please help.

Thank you kindly!  I've tried your suggestions, however the watch still displays the same message.  The app is setup, found the tracker, but something is still bit clicking?

It shows the pho e send g data to the tracker...does this for extended periods then says to retry.

I've deleted the tracker and started over twice to no avail.

Thanks for getting back @Mellb and welcome to the Fitbit Community @LydiaJoi! 🙂

Normally, if the tracker hasn't been set up and you put it to charge, you will not see that it's charging even if you have it in the charging craddle. So this is normal.

Make sure you leave it at least 45 min to 1 hr in charging and after that, on the Fitbit app, go to the Account section and look for the "Set up a new device" option. Follow the on-screen steps and it should connect to your account without any problem. Something to keep in mind is that you need to make sure that your phone is compatible. You can check this in the list of compatible devices here.

Goot to have you in the Community @Ajperez! 🙂

Make sure that you're pressing the little flange in the lower part of the front of the cradle so that you can pull the upper side up as you can see in the image below:
