New Blaze....trying to charge, but I do not get the battery icon when I plug it in. Solution?

Since this is my first Blaze, I'm trying to figure out if the charger is working correctly.

Correct, you will feel a vibration when plugging the unit in.

You will not see the battery charging until it is set up

The device cannot be set up because of the battery was too low upon arrival. The device won't show the battery charging because it isn't set up (double-edged sword). So basically first charge we have no indication as to when the charging is complete, correct?
