Ok when charging but does not work at all when in it's wristband whether held in the hand or attached to my wrist. Tried the reset but that did not work, cannot turn off without being able to see the screen, can anyone help?

Sounds defective. I would return it to where ever you bought it. This would be the Fastest way.
