New Fitbit blaze not holding charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My brand new Fitbit blaze arrived, set it up, and it won’t charge. While in the docking station I get the clock and mini battery icon showing its fully charged but the minute I take it out of the cradle it’s dead. I put back in the cradle and the big battery icon only displays a single red line. Any advice?

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

Sounds defective. I would take it back where ever you got it and exchange it or contact support

Did you use the original charging cable? I once plugged the dock into a thinner cable and the same thing happened to me. Try using another cable. I think sometimes the thinner cable for headphones does not work as well. Having said that, my one-year-old blaze won't last 10 hours on one charge. That's why I am in this forum to see if anyone has the same problem.

Update: called customer service and they said it was defective so they are sending me a replacement. Thanks for the comments though!
