New blaze got today, may be returning tomorrow

Ok, so I got an LG G6... Had no issues to start with. Except I couldn't get the fitstar to sync onto the fitbit. I saw in a forum to try restarting the fitbit and phone. Now I can't sync to my phone at all. I now learn that the LG G6 isn't listed as a compatible device. So my question is if the problems I am encountering maybe just a bad fitbit and I should order a replacement or if this is just part for the course in having an LG G6 and a fitbit blaze and I should instead suck it up and get a smart watch?

I've got an LG G6 and didn't have any issues with my Blaze functioning with it. I've now got an Ionic and that also works fine too, I'm currently using the Ionic and blaze as multi tracker on my account.

You can try removing the blaze from your Fitbit account within the app, then go into the Bluetooth settings on your phone and also remove it from there. Once you've done that, go back into the fitbit app and set up new device. You shouldn't lose any steps or data if you follow those steps, hopefully that should fix your problem.
