New blaze won't charge

I'm trying to set up my new blaze, but it says my battery is too low to proceed. When I put the battery in the cradle and plugged it into my computer, the battery symbol did not appear. It just says fitbit.com/setup. I read a few posts and tried a hard reset. The battery appeared briefly then went away. I'm getting pretty frustrated because I think I'm doing everything right. Is my device just faulty?

Thanks. Actually, I just ran an update and synced it and now it seems to be charging. Fingers crossed! Hope you're able to solve your issue too!

Did you download the app? Check for an update, make sure Bluetooth is on and the battery is in the charger. Set your device near the charger and run the update through the app. It takes 5-10 minutes. Once the update finished, my watch face appeared and the battery symbol was in the corner. It seems like it's good to go now.

I had the same problem, but when I checked the app again it had a message for an update. Make sure you paired the device with your fitbit.

I will double check but certains it's paired .
Surely it should be taking the charge even if not paired etc
Very frustrating

If your Blaze has the setup message there will be no symbol to show that it is charging. Leave it in the charger for 20-60 minutes then try again

Success for me yayayaya

I grabbed my emergency chargery batterie kit ( ANKER) and stuck it on charge for 30 minutes.

I then connected it to my pc and voila it updated.

Cool! @GavinK,

You might find that the phone charger will work.

Occasionally I’ll have issues with my Fitbit blaze not charging. I put it in the cradle and it just blinks red on the battery. I usually only have this problem when I’ve let the battery die or get close to dying. Try going over into settings on your watch and scroll down to click shutdown. Once your screen goes blank click the left side button to turn it back on and put it in the cradle again. That has worked for me. The only other issue I had was when I didn’t update it when an update was available. Hope that helps because it’s a great watch. I’ve had mine for 2 years now.
