Of course you do @Wheels61, your not using the app.

Let's. Install the Fitbit app onto the phone.run the app and choose log in.

Use the correct email and passeord.

The app might ask for some permissions of which you will want to agree to.

Your all setup!

That is if you have not removed the tracker from your Fitbit account.

If you did you will need to set RT. Tracker up in the app like when it first was purchased.

I have installed fitbit app on the new phone two different times. Additionally, I have an update to the Blaze to apply and that is not happening. I still cannot pair the Blaze with the new phone and I have installed the fitbit app.

Your saying the app shows your blaze as connected to your Fitbit account?

If this is the case you should be good. You do not pair the Blaze to the phone, this is a job for the app to do,

What you have is a sync problem.

First thing, you say this is a new phone, is the old phone around and still turned on? If so make sure you have logged out of Fitbit, then remove the tracker from the phones bluetooth.

Let's get back to the new phone.

Make sure that the Fitbit app is up to date.

Try through the cellular network of you have been using wifi.

I don't think it should be needed but a few have reported that clearing the apps cache got their sync fixed.

My suggestion is to restart the phone and tracker.. Now let's go to the Fitbit help on sync problrms.

Once we get the sync fixed there should not be a problem in updating the tracker.

I had a similar problem when i got a new S8 recently.

I had to reboot both phone and blaze to get it working.
