Nexus 6p and allowing access

I just got a blaze and it syncs fine but when I need to allow access like phone book or pictures etc it comes up with deny or allow and it won't let me allow. I can deny but won't allow. I have reset, bt, my device, reinstalled app etc. Any suggestions?

What operating system is on the phone?

Do you have any software that controls permissions  running? 

If running Marshmellow got the the phone settings - Applications  - Fitbit - Permissions, typy should be able to tuen it on from there.
