Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

I just switched from Samsung Galaxy 5 to Samsung Galaxy 8.  No text messages, no phone calls.  No notifications.  Very disappointing!  I'm a runner and don't want to have to pull my phone out to check messages or calls.  The convenience is gone.  If I'm doing something Fitbit, tell me!

I have an iPhone 7 and when I have this problem I turn off Bluetooth on the phone. Connect the Blaze to my iPad instead. Sync. And when I connect it to my phone again it works.

As already mentioned, I have the same issue after charging my Fitbit.  If I shutoff the bluetooth on my phone after charger and re-establish the connection I have found that this solves the issue..
