No map or voice cues while tracking run with Blaze

I recently upgraded from a Flex to a Blaze and I love it. However, I've gone on two runs which I initiated using the Exercise feature on the Blaze. Both times the Blaze indicated that it was connected to my phone, but the maps of my runs were not recorded correctly and I didn't receive any voice cues whatsoever.

I have the latest version of the app on my iPhone 7, which is also running the latest iOS; and the Blaze is operating with the most recent firmware update. I've checked and double-checked the settings and everything seems to be correct. The only thing that may be causing a problem is that I'm running with iSport bluetooth headphones. Could they be interfering with the Blaze's connection with my phone?

Hello @SunsetRunner, when you say the map is not recorded correctly, are you seeing any map at all?

That'd correct, voice cues require a speaker or the ability to connect to headphone. Neither of which the Blaze has.

The headphones should not be causing a problem

The map only shows a small portion of the run (in the second case, it showed me running in a direct line across a lake!). But the stats appear to be correct (distance, time, steps, splits, etc.).

When I run, I'm wearing the Blaze, bluetooth headphones and carrying my iPhone. I assume the voice cues should be heard in my headphones, sent from the app which is activated when I start the run on my Blaze.

If you start the run on the Blaze, your using the Blaze to record your run, not the Fitbit app. I found that I don't even need the App in memory, let alone running.

As for the straight lines, this usually means the phone lost its GPS lock. How cloudy was it or could you have been in a wooded area?
