The description says I will get notifications of texts etc, which is the reason I bought this model... I get no notifications... Only syncs my music play....

It's great to have you here @SatoriFound! In order to have notifications in your tracker, you need to have a compatible device. If you do, I would like you to make sure that you have done the proper set up to get the notifications working.
