No sleep records after not syncing for a while

Earlier today my Fitbit Blaze wouldn't sync to my iPhone 7 Plus at all. After troubleshooting for a while I removed the device from the app and re-synced it. Eureka! My device started syncing and my data finally appeared in the app. Then I went to check on my sleep from the past week... and nothing. There are no stats populating. Somehow my Blaze recorded the data for everything except my sleep. Why is this happening, and how do I obtain those missing metrics? This is the first time I've ever had this experience with the Blaze, and honestly it's turning me off to Fitbit in general. After going through two Surge watches in the short span of a year and a half, I now feel like my Blaze is starting to go down the same route. These things just aren't built to last.

Hi there @WerdsMada. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that your phone was acting up like this... I'm glad to hear that everything seems to be working fine now.

Now, I'm not sure what could have caused this and for that same reason, I'm not sure that your sleep records for that week will be retrieved. I'd like to know if you don't see any sleep record at all or if you do see sleep records but only showing your sleep pattern instead of sleep stages.

I can suggest restarting your tracker to ensure this will not happen again. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot and then, try it out and see if it tracks all your information accurately.

Let me know how if you need more help!

I noticed yesterday my Blaze wasn't showing my sleep hours. I tried your suggestion and it still didn't work. Can you provide another solution? Like the other customer, I had 2 Surges which died that led me to the Blaze but I won't invest into another watch if this can't be fix.

Good to see you in the Forums too @SugaBrown! 🙂

I'm sorry you're also having problems with this and thanks for trying my suggestion. Now, I'd like to know if you're not able to see any sleep record at all or if you do see sleep records but they show the time asleep as 0 minutes. If you could provide a screenshot of how it looks that would be awesome!

Also, keep in mind that after a glitch like this, if it is that you don't see any sleep records at all, after restarting your tracker, you might not get the sleep logs for those nights back but should prevent this from happening in the future.

I'll be looking forward for your reply!

Thank you for your response. The last time the Blaze clock my sleep was
April 10th.

Thanks for getting back and showing me this @SugaBrown!

I see what you say. Now, I'd suggest making sure that you're restarting your tracker by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds until the tracker turns off and you push any button to bring it back on.

Once it's on again, I'd recommend wearing your tracker on your non-dominant hand and keep an eye on it for the next days and see how it goes!

Let me know if you need more help with this!

I'm already 3 steps ahead of you. I restarted my blaze and I always wear my
watch on my non dominant hand. I think the sensors are bad.
