Hi
i am having a problem with the sleep tracking on my Blaze. It worked perfectly for the first 3 weeks and always showed the advanced sleep stages but for the past 2 weeks I always get the same message about not getting a consistent heart rate while I'm sleeping. But the time line showing heart rate info shows there is consistent heart rate info during the time I am asleep.
I have tried everything under the advice given, including restarting the Blaze and even going so far as to delete the app from IOS and reinstalling the app and the Blaze from scratch.
nothing I have tried changes the outcome. And when I wake up in the middle of the night and check the heart rate display it always seems to show an accurate measurement and ian updating. I can't understand why I keep getting this error message.
Could this be be a problem with the app itself? Seems like many people are complaining about this over the past few weeks. And my issue started about the same time that everyone else started having problems.

Is your HR monitor set to Auto? If yes try restarting and change the setting to ON, either on the watch or your fitbit app and then sync. Also check your bluetooth to make sure the blaze is connected. I have noticed it was not connected on mine at some point and it helped the issue.
While keeping the HR set to ON all the time it might cause the battery to drain a lot faster then normal.
I now have sleep stages for the past week.

So I tried setting HR to on instead of auto but it didn't make any difference.
I still got only the simplified sleep stages again. I'm beginning to suspect this is a fault with my Blaze. I've tried everything that Fitbit help team suggested but nothing works.

Hi guys! I have a same problem. I will try this last chance - hear rate to "on" mode - and I will see. I can not undrestand, I have had this blaze only for 1 and half week and in the first couple of days it was working.
Btw I tried everytring- restart, sensitive sleep tracking and still nothing.
Thank you for help.

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem and I think it is a syncing problem. The syncing progress bar on the top of the app screen stops at about 50% and dissapears.
Are you all using iOS 10.3.3?

Well, looks like I found the solution! Not sure why it works but I switched the Blaze to my right wrist from the left wrist and changed the setting to dominant hand from non dominant as I am right handed. I just thought I'd try. And it has worked every night for the last 5. I normally wear the watch on my left wrist during the day and hen switch to the right just before bed. A bit of a hassle but at least it has solve some the problem

This is what I had to do in order for it to work. Glad it worked for you
