No time sync!! Basically useless

I have run into a problem that basically makes my Blaze useless to me. I travel a lot around the world for business. This current trip I am away for 15 days in Europe, middle and far east and west coast of the US. My Blaze fails to sync the time. I have gone through and changed advanced settings yet when it sync's it always shows synced to the time at home (EST). The time on my phone is local why can't the Blaze be local???!!!

It has become a useless item in this respect if it can't even show me the correct time - NOT HAPPY and right now I consider a wasted purchase.

Hi, @KLMark, have you tried turning auto timezone OFF?  Oddly I find this works best for me when I travel.  With auto timezone off your Blaze should update the time when you manually force a sync.

You may need initially to get it on the right time zone first  if it is currently out of kilter.  (I am not sure about that,  but it might work best to start from a point where the time is correct.

If it hasn't updated automatically, try setting your Blaze to any INCORRECT timezone and then sync.  Once it has updated, set it to the CORRECT timezone and sync again.

Once the time zone and the time is correct, leave auto timezone turned OFF.  The next time you travel, once your phone has updated and you are ready to update your Blaze just force a manual sync.  (I like to make sure it passes through midnight so it gets the signal to reset to zero and my steps don't carry over to the next day.)

That should update the time on your Blaze.

have tried auto time zone on / off, changed time zones manually, the location always seems to where I am. I have shut down the blaze numerous times, synced numerous times ZIP, NADA!! Right now in Anchorage and my Blaze is 4 hours ahead!!

All I want is the correct time without having to constantly change stuff I don't think it's too much to ask??

Out of interest, if you shutdown your Blaze for 10 minutes, does the time stay 4 hours  and +/- 10 minutes wrong, or does it change back to 4 hours wrong when synced?

It always sync's back to my "home" location NOT where I am 😞

Been trying numerous times and combinations as I said over the past week+ with no joy.

Today it is finally right - I am back home!! 🙂 Yes that was sarcasm.
