Not receiving Fitbit notifications on my phone

My Blaze gets the usual notifications still but I no longer receive friend request or challenge notifications on my phone from the app. It used to come up with the Fitbit sign at top of my phone and a message but now I get nothing I don't know about challenges until I go into the app. I've uninstalled the app and re installed it I've deleted the blaze from my phone then paired it again it's been reset and I've been on my Fitbit online and all the boxes for notifications are ticked it's driving me mad now.

A warm welcome to the Community @Lucyann79 and thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

Have you checked your phone's settings? If you haven't, I recommend taking a look at this, check that the option to receiving Fitbit notification is on. You just need to do the following from your Fitbit app:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Notifications
3. Check that Fitbit is on

Yes done all that it seems since the last two updates my phone is no longer compatible with the fitbit app really not impressed at all first time in 2 yrs I've had a fitbit that doesn't work with my phone and it's only just stopped working

Can you please tell me which phone you have @Lucyann79? In the meantime, I recommend checking if it is on our list of compatible mobile devices.

It's the Sony Xperia z5 compact it's always been compatible till this last update really not impressed
